Comments

The Latam Recruit website browser gets the information of the user who comes on the website and drops feedback on the portal. The IP address and all the user data help the site find spam or hackers so that they can prevent issues.

The Gravatar service gets the user string or data as a hash through an email. It then posts your comment to the website after the approval when the service finds it appropriate to post on the website.

Media

When uploading an image to the website, avoid uploading graphics in the form of embedded data. This includes graphics in the format of EXIF or GPS. The images & videos uploaded on the website will then be used by visitors to extract the location and other personal information.

Cookies

Cookies are meant to save your browsing data on the website. Hence, when you add a comment on the website, it automatically saves your data and personal information like email address and name. This information lasts for one year on the website, so you don’t have to fill it out repeatedly.

Upon visiting the website, a temporary cookie option will appear, and the browser will close when you close it. If you accept cookies, the website will store your data, but if you discard them, the data will be lost when the browser closes.

After visiting, the login phase comes. Several cookies save your information upon login. They stay on the website for two days, whereas the screen option cookies stay for a year. The Remember Me option makes the cookies last for two weeks. These cookies vanish with the logout.

Publishing cookies is different from visiting one. Upon publication, the computer will save your cookies. However, they only contain the article’s user ID and edit information, which also expires in one day.

Embedded Content From Other Websites

The website articles may contain embedded content like videos and images. When the content of another website is embedded, it shows exactly like the individual would have on that website. As long as you hold a login account, another website can track your other information and interaction with other content.

Who We Share Your Data With?

The email address that you receive after requesting a password reset will contain your IP address.

How Long We Retain Your Data?

Your comments are safe with us, along with the metadata. This is so that, rather than keeping them in a moderate queue, we can easily identify and allow any follow-up questions.

We also keep the user data uploaded to their profiles when they register on our website. All users can view, modify, or remove their personal data at any moment; however, they are unable to change their usernames. The website administrator can view and change that data as well.

What rights do you have over your data?

You can ask to get the data export containing all of the sensitive data we hold on file concerning you. It includes any information that you have given us, such as if you have created one or have any comments posted on our website.

Where Your Data is Sent?

A spam detection service that runs automatically checks the comments that visitors post.
